In this episode, I speak to Dr Bob Doneley about How to Approach Avian Skin and Feather Diseases including feather damaging behaviour, superficial chronic ulcerative dermatitis and psittacine beak and feather disease.
Dr Bob Doneley is a registered specialist and Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Avian Medicine. He is currently the Head of the Avian and Exotic Pet Service and a Professor at the University of Queensland. He teaches exotic medicine and surgery to both the veterinary and veterinary technology students there. Dr Doneley is also the author of the book, Avian Medicine and Surgery in Practice, now in its second edition, and an Editor of the book, Reptile Medicine and Surgery in Clinical Practice.
